No, you can't be interested, can you?

For those that are just some quick rundown about who I am and what I do.

Just me

Born in 1976 in southwest Germany, near Freiburg, I more or less spent the next 20 years there going to school, doing my civil service and what not. In 1996 it was time to move to the other side of the contry, to the University of Rostock in the northwestern part of Germany going to the Facululty of Engineering and Naval Architecture. From 1999 to 2000 I spent one year on Canada as an exchange student at the University of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. In 2003 I took over a job at the same faculty working on the project KonSenS as a Phd-student.

What I am good at and what I like

  • cycling - see here
  • traveling - 26 days of holidyas are just not enough!
  • everything related to naval architecture - hey, its my job and my hobby
  • everything related to IT

What I am not so good at

  • getting up early
